B- Inner Titan Technique

Updated: May 17

Name: Inner Titan Technique

Technique Power Ranking: B

Description: The Inner Titan Technique is a legendary martial method developed by those who revered the colossal beings of ancient times, Titans. Instead of mimicking titanic strength, this technique cultivates a dormant titan spirit within the user, transforming their body into a vessel of raw might. Over time, this spirit grows stronger, eventually manifesting physically in battle. While not magical in nature, its ki-enhanced process allows the user to rival magical beings in physical force, at the cost of magic itself.

Pathways:

Stage One: To master the first stage, the practitioner must consume the core of a B-Rank beast whole, raw, and unrefined. They must suppress the beast’s innate abilities, allowing only its raw energy to remain and forge a Titan Core within their own body.

  • Bonus: Grants a passive 6x increase to all physical stats (strength, endurance, reflexes).

  • Backlash: The practitioner’s magical capabilities are halved permanently, including mana pool and casting speed.

Stage Two: The user must gather and feed the Titan Core with five lesser creature cores (C-rank) and meditate in a forged furnace for 10 days to let the core gestate. During this time, all magical interaction must cease; no casting, no magic support, no interference.

  • Bonus: When the core hatches, the user’s physical capabilities rise to 8x, and they become resistant to fear-based effects while in combat by 50%.

  • Backlash: While the Titan Core is active, the user becomes incapable of using any magic or magical tools/gear. Magic-focused races suffer from dissonance, reducing their passive racial bonuses.

Stage Three: The young titan within now influences the user’s instincts. To grow it, the user must undergo ten meaningful combat encounters without retreat, during which the titan's instincts attempt to take over. This battle training nourishes and matures the core.

  • Bonus: Once matured, the titan grants the user the ability to ignore all physical pain and external damage for 5 turns, with a 10-turn cooldown. This effect doesn’t prevent fatal injuries but delays their impact.

  • Backlash: After the effect ends, the user becomes immobile for 5 turns and unable to regenerate or heal naturally for the next 10.

Final Stage: To reach this stage, the user must enter a ritual of communion with the Titan, learning its nature, its purpose, and accepting its instincts as part of their own. Upon completion, the user can project the titan outward, overlaying it onto their form.

  • Bonus: While projected, the user grows in size, gains extra limbs, and receives a 12x multiplier to physical strength and resilience. The projection lasts 15 turns and enhances all melee strikes to near-explosive force.

  • Backlash: Each time the titan is projected, the user enters a state of bloodlust and berserk fury, attacking friend or foe indiscriminately unless restrained or calmed. After projection ends, the user suffers mental fatigue, becoming unable to project again for 1 full day.
