Description: The caster draws their own blood and infuses it with fire-aligned dark mana, conjuring a writhing mass of flaming, thorned briars. These briars originate from the caster’s casting limb and lash out toward enemies within 20 meters, binding, burning, and digging barbed appendages into their targets. As a hybrid of fire and dark arts, these briars are able to grapple even ethereal, intangible, or non-corporeal beings. They persist for up to 10 turns, writhing and reacting to the caster's focus.

Limitations & Side Effects:

• Boost Limit: 4x. Range and number of briars can be boosted, but duration remains capped at 10 turns.

• The briars emerge from and remain tethered to the caster's limb, burning and digging into their own flesh during use.

• If concentration is lost, the briars retract violently, causing a backlash that burns the caster for 2 turns.

• Briars can only grapple one target per turn unless boosted.
