Across the world of Shinseina, a wide variety of ores and minerals exist, some naturally occurring and others artificially created through magical or scientific means. These materials can be found scattered throughout different regions and biomes, coming in many shapes, sizes, and textures. Some are even infused with mana, granting them unique properties and making them significantly more valuable than ordinary minerals.

When documenting a mineral, several key traits are typically recorded. Each mineral is identified by its commonly known name, followed by its usual coloration. Its location is noted based on the biome or environment it can be found in, with rarity ranked on a scale from Common to Legendary; Common being easily found, and Legendary being so rare that finding one may seem impossible.

Physical properties are also important. The mineral’s hardness is measured using the Mohs scale, although in Shinseina, some minerals can exceed the traditional range of 1 to 10. The melting point indicates the temperature needed to liquefy the mineral, while solubility refers to whether or not the mineral dissolves in liquids.

Finally, its market value is listed to represent the legal price it might fetch when sold, and a short description typically details any notable uses or applications the mineral may have in various crafts, industries, or magical practices.
